This week we have challenged public relations and media student Lea Solaric Sertic to choose 11 items that represents her and her life in the past, present and future!
One item that represents my childhood: Dolls
"I loved playing wit any kind of dolls, and that lasted until 7th grade. I remember
my wish for every holiday or birthday: a doll. When my family and I were going on
holiday trips I was always bringing tons of dolls and their clothes and equipment for
them, so basically all of my luggage were dolls haha. I was really enjoying taking care
of them, bathing, clothing and brushing their hair, so my childhood was for sure
characterized by dolls."
One item that represents my nationality: Delicious food!
"Croatians are masters for traditional food, and every region in Croatia has different cuisine that tourist adore. I personally prefer Meditteranean cuisine on the coast of Adriatic sea because of olive oil and fresh fish. Also, the symbol of my country is pršut in which I really enjoy and recommend to every tourist!"
One item that represents my biggest passion: Clothes
"I always loved fashion and clothes is a symbol of my passion for fashion. Fashion is an unlimited source of creativity and imagination, and designing clothes is a masterpiece for me. Since I was a kid I dreamed about becoming a fashion designer, and through clothes express my concepts of beauty. I agree that our clothes don’t show who we really are, but it can help us to express our ideas and show the world creativity we own."
One item that represents my highest ambition in life: My bracelet
"The red bracelet with a tiny golden heart that represents the happiness I want to have
every day of my life. That bracelet speaks a thousand languages for me because I got it
from my family on the day of my wedding. I never really believe in items that bring
luck or good energy, but this bracelet showed me I was wrong. Being happy and
satisfied with my position in life is the most important thing for me because
happiness is something that can’t be faked."
One item that represents m current mood: Caffe latte
"On a rainy Sunday, all I think about is a warm cup of caffe latte under my blanket. Latte symbolises slowly afternoon, and calms me in the difficult and challenging times we are. After a year of fear and uncertainty, I finally feel calm and positive, being thankful for health and my family."

One item that represents my favourite person: White fluffy slippers
"They represent my baby boy, born last year. That slippers he wore all last winter when he was born and I instantly think about tiny wrap in my arms when I look at them. Those tiny wool slippers are the first thing I bought when I found out I’m pregnant and I’m so emotional every time I see them on a cupboard in a baby’s room. His eyes are like a deep ocean that reminds me every minute of my life
what is the most important thing in life, and that’s family."
One item that represents my style: A blazer
"It’s my dream item of clothing because it can be worn on hundreds of combinations, and never be boring. I personally love women suit the most because it is also very elegant and also very casual at the same time and I feel very confident and sexy. Also, I adore the version of a blazer with some casual pants or sweatpants on snickers. Every holiday I decide my outfit will include some stylish blazer with some golden jewellery or hair accessorize. My friend once told me that whenever she
sees a blazer in the store she automatically think about me, and I find it truthfully funny."

I consider communication the most important activity privately and professionally so people need to improve their communication on daily to become good listeners and also good speakers."
One item that represents the past year: My couch
